I thought about that myself. I know that many celebrities do not carry any cash or credit cards...which is essentially for their own protection, so it's not a stretch to think some may not carry ID for the same reasons.

I wish I could know what the actual verbal exchange was. It's hard for me to imagine that Dylan wouldn't say something like, "what would it take to convince you I am who I say I am?" But maybe he did and the officer replied, "I.D." (Lackluster imagination on her part!)
