Thinking about going to see her in a few nights. Heard a few by her and nothing was memorable, but I probably didn't listen closely enough. She worth checking out? It's for free.

I've got her cds. I like her voice and her tunes as well.
I've never seen her live, though. I'd go for free for sure. If you don't like it the loss is minimal.

Saw her on the tube....part of a Austin City Limits, I think. I remember it as being good but to-to memorabile......I'd give it a chance, especially if it was free or in the $10-15 dollar range and I didn't have to travel too far....
With courage, strength, faith and hope we will face one day at a time.

Go see her. I really like her and think Tambourine is one of the best country-rock albums by a woman in a long time. I've seen her 3 times and enjoyed them all. Haven't seen her since her new album, Another Country, which is too quiet for my taste, and the departure of lead guitarist Brad Rice. Rice is an excellent player who's been in Ryan Adams' band, Son Volt and is now in Keith Urban's band.

Be sure you go and see her Tony, i've seen her twice recently, solo both times but they were very entertaining shows. She's as good a solo artist as they come. Would love to catch her with a full band though.
Well the music pours out on the street Just as clean and cool as a cotton sheet

Pretty good show and I'm glad I went even if she didn't blow me away...She sure can sing and she had a bunch of easy, memorable melodies. I especially liked Something To Me, Keep You Happy (which she did un-mic'd beautifully), Broken, Good Hearted Man and Virginia No One Can Warn You. She played four new ones and I thought two of them were good.
I was disappointed that she played solo and I do believe that some of her songs would have been a whole lot better with a band. I thought too much of it was too subdued and it hurt that it wasn't always easy to make out her words. When it's just a singer and her guitar or keyboards the words have to carry more of the weight. And oh yeah, I did like her better on guitar than on keyboards.
But like I said, I was glad I went. Thanks for the nudge.
