Richard Thompson has released so much music in the past two decades alone. Some of it has been ordinary, but there are always a few gems in any release that just sort of make time stop. A stellar singer/songwriter who, according to Nick Hornby in his novel "High Fidelity," is "only England's greatest guitarist."

Hot Tuna 1970 acoustic album (Known to many as the "Breaking Glass" album). It was remastered a few years back, but this album always had amazing sound quality. It's live in two small coffee houses, and they threw in some bonus tracks. Jack Casady on bass and Jorma Kaukonen on guitar. In perfect sync.
I was reasonable once.

Ned Van Go... Marry A Waitress. Great stuff!! And if you like that one, pick up his newest "The Dirt & the Sin" if you are of a mind - super catchy upbeat acoustic music. Had it in the player for months now. (Poco content = Mr Webb adds keys, accordion, BGV and did the engineering / mixing / recording at 8:05 Studios!)
