I have a semi-poinent story for this birthday. I got a phonecall from my middle daughter today (23). She currently lives in Pensecola, FL. She appologized profusely for not calling me on my birthday, but explained that she has been feeling too poorly to call on that day and she hoped I would understand. Of course I explained that a father's love is just not that easily lost. And besides, neither of her sisters had called me either.

I had many free beers at my bar, got a special call out on this board, got calls from all over the country, but hadn't heard from any of my daughters.

Within five minutes of that phone call, my phone was ringing off the hook.

Ya gotta love em. I know I do.
