Ringo is rock's quintessential drummer. Period.

(Hey lady! You order the pepperoni with mushrooms?) =)

I love Ringo. Not only is he my fave drummer he's the Beatle i like the Most. I have all his Cd's cept Beacoups of Blues and Sentimental Journey. True not known as a great vocalist. But you know what he held his own and he did quite good. Also not known as a great songwriter but he got better as the years went by. He has played with so many people and it can't be all because he was a Beatle. It was because he was a drummer's drummer and knew exactly what to play and when to play it. Long live Ringo and Happy 69th to Richie!!. and he got better with playing multiple instruments.
