Yes I'm talking about you Mr Kaufman ! :x

Oh, for heaven's sake, a couple of days of not checking the board and you're on my back already! Of course I want a UK (and/or European) tour. And a new album, and new material, and the lost TV appearances, and whatever else.

But it's hard to see a UK tour happening any time soon; and if it does, it doubt it'll be because of your squeekiness.

With all the hassle of travel (especially with equipment), and people maybe not having as much spending money these days, it's hard to see how a tour could be made feasible. And they seem plenty busy as it is - presumably they're at least as busy as they want to be.

Maybe if someone could put up enough money to make a "private party" worthwhile... or knows exactly the right people to properly organize and promote it and get the right venues... and maybe find other reasons for them to want to tackle it... but even then it sounds like a big ask.

Really, at the moment I'm just delighted they're willing and able to keep it going at all.

So whilst a UK tour would be great, I suspect it's pure fantasy. But please prove me wrong!!!

I'm with Mike......Don't get me wrong, I'd love for you guys to get a tour but the reality of it is probably a very very long shot.....for many reasons...
At this stage we should all be happy that we get what we get and realize that it probably won't be continuing much longer....
But we can dream of some new music and continue to anxiously await "The Book"...Just as I day dream of where the guys will set up in my yard when I have them play for my private party....Hey....Ya never know!!!
With courage, strength, faith and hope we will face one day at a time.

I completely disagree with the negativity shown by the last two posts. Poco could easily undertake a U.K tour with the right promotion, right venue's and the right advertising. It also wouldn't cost much to put these things together. Poco are still a legendary band in the U.K and could play reasonable sized venue's like 'The 'Robin' (Southampton), 'The Brook' (Wolverhampton) or 'The Stables' (Milton Keynes) who speacialise in bands from the same era. Poco would have a strong pull in the right venue's but a U.K tour would need to be properly organised. The last time the band came to England in 2005 it was badly organised and not promoted properly with little or no research into the right venue for Poco.

Bump to keep this thread near the top.

I see no reason why a Poco tour of the UK playing medium sized venues (300-500) wouldn't be succesful with the right promotion. Say 5 or 6 gigs -I would go to every one, if humanely possible.

Saw The Eagles in Manchester last week which was excellent. It has always been a dream to see Poco over here though. Not giving up hope yet!

This thread needs bumping up, so I'll just say that I live in Crewe, Cheshire - but you could tell that from looking at the details of my previous post anyway.

As for "MikeinLondon", does anyone want to guess where he lives ?! :D
