Panama! We are the same age, old friend. '55 was a very good year.
I'll be 54 in about a week.
We are living in the future. I'll tell you how I know. I read it in the paper, 15 years ago.

Hey you moonies! (Only Kidding!) Sounded appropriate...there's a great video on youtube from Eric Brace of Last Train Home. He wrote the song in honor of Neil Armstrong and NASA gave him some actual footage to use for it. Check it out sorry, off hand I don't have the link but I'm sure you'll find it. It's really worth a looks see

They just sent back pictures from the current moon probe from space of the equipment left on the moon. The probe is looking for landing spots for the next landing.

I know, a missle flew into the Pentagon too!

   ...Sorry, I don't mean to laugh, but that was funny.

I know I shouldn't have these feelings but I'm still wordering if it really happened. The lunar module was so flimsy and like a feather in the wind and would it go through the atmostphere? and I'm finding it hard to think that 1960's technology was advanced enough to actually do a moon landing? I'm sure I'm not the only one who might have doubts on this subject.

I couldn't live with 20 years on the road...

I don't think I could even discuss it."

My Great Uncle was one of the top Nasa adminisrators when they frist set it up in the sixties, he was an aeronautical engineer and much more, so my family always had the latest information coming our way. He also arranged for us to go to Florida to see the SkyLab launched into space. He once told me that of all the promotion of the space program the one thing that inspired the most people about space exploration was Star Trek! And he also explained that when people sometimes complained about all the money being spent in space he pointed out that not one penney was ever spent in space, but rather it was all spent right here on earth mostly right here in this country. Anyway he had the first EARTHRISE photo that I had ever seen and it was autographed by the three astronauts who took it. He helped to establish the Space Museeum in Jackson, Michigan which is now closed so my family will be donating many of his things to the new AIR ZOO which is in Kalamazoo!
