You have been a part of my life longer that anyone except my mom, dad and older brother. You taught me about history in the above mentioned series of films I saw in early grade school. You stayed with me all through the growing up process with that wisdom, thoughtfulness and that great voice. I have missed you for along time now and will miss you even more now.
It is hard to lose an icon.

Walter was a true icon in his field. I remember him from when I began to remember. He lived a very full life. Rest in Peace Walter.
