Poco flags?

Postby jamesbn » Tue Jul 21, 2009 10:49 am

Wow...the new site is tough to get in to. I had to add an "N" to my name (I'm the "artist formerly known as Jamesb") and change passwords.

Mary......has there ever been any thought to 3 x 5 flags ? I'm looking for flags to fly when i want to give Old Glory a break......I'd love a horseshoe logo flag!

Good idea! Horseshoe for me! I also really like the Horseshoe with Horse logo at the top this page.

Bob and I would fly one. Just installed a flag holder bracket on the front porch. So far, we only have the good old Stars and Stripes and a Cleveland Browns flag for football season.

I wanted one back in the mid-ninties, and bought white flag material. The flag's size was determined by the flags they had for sale in craft stores, so I knew it would fit the pole. My flag pole is solid wood. U will need a sewing machine to do your seams, but they're real easy, since they're straight. U can use the album cover to enlarge the horse so he's real big, then transer him with a 6B (soft) pencil. I painted the horse on it with black acrylic paint, and a dab or red in the horse's eye. I noticed that the flag was a bit tranlucent, so I used the leftover piece of material to make another Poco Horse for the other side. My flag is signed by the Poco guys, but I don't carry it around much, because i walk with a cane these days.

Welcome home, jamesb (n) !
I'd fly the Poco flag with pride (horseshoe logo, or running horse).
