Just hooked up a new Audio-technica USB turntable and at long last can convert some this vinyl to Cd. Going to be a lot of fun listening to old tunes I haven't heard for years. :D

Let the rest of us know how well it works. What lps do you have that you can't get on cd? Off the top of my head The Grass Roots "Move Along" lp hasn't been pressed to cd.

It works great and is very easy to do once you get it working, which only took about 20 minutes. I have close to 2000 LP's so there is lots of old stuff that I what to copy.

I got one of those USB turntables a few years ago for Christmas but have yet to get off my arse and hook the thing up....Hearing here that it's easy to do, I just might give it a go.

One question...How much??
I still have over 300 lps, most available on CD. The price justifies the means, or not. If I only have 20 LPs to copy, the price per may not be reasonable. If you know what I mean. Still sounds like a great idea!!!!!!!!!
We are living in the future. I'll tell you how I know. I read it in the paper, 15 years ago.

I think they can be had for around a hundred bucks these days....as with all tech...the prices always come down....

Can you pause (or what ever you call it) between songs so you can jump arount or is it just a straight through recording?

I paid $119.00 Canadian so that would be about $99.00 US
