Straycat, you rock. That also seems to have fixed my problem of not displaying the pics in the signatures (those temporary avatars).

Hi Y'all,

I've just signed on to help out with the new site. Thanks for being patient and for helping each other find workarounds while we get kinks ironed out.

Though I happen to agree with some folks here that Firefox is a superior browser, we certainly don't want to make things tough for Internet Explorer users. I'm aware of the mixed content problem and it's on my task list.

Actually, DieHardPOCOFan is right that it's a bit unusual to run the whole site in https -- that may change eventually. I'm still getting my sea legs with how things are put together at the moment, before rushing in to make any major changes.
