Heh. Thanks, and I usually answer to "Russell" although any of the above are fine.

I'll mainly be working on the programming more than monitoring the boards -- Mary's still definitely your best bet for getting a response. I'm checking out the posts here mainly to find out what issues people may be having with using the site. I must say it seems like a fun community, though!

Bogeyfire...I'd like MAC except that Apple seems to think that blind people shouldn't use computers. Thankfully, the new I-phone does have voice touch and is useable...now, all I need is some extra money to throw away.

Loved the Firefox browser...until they "improved" it. Now it doesn't work well with my software.

Time to start using Chrome for a few years until it starts getting bloated too? <grin>

Straycat wrote:For those with Windows/Internet Explorer, you can disable the security warning on this site by doing the following:

Go to Control Panel
Internet Options
Click on the security tab
Select Custom Level
Scroll about halfway down till you see "Display Mixed Content"
Select "Enable"
Click okay

Thanks! Now can you tell me how words like "Custom "Level" and "Display Mixed Content" are translated in Dutch? :D

I can't figure it out yet (but I don't know much about software). This pop up irritates the hell out of me. Any Dutch Poconuts wanna help me out?

I believe this annoying security warning will be gone now -- please post and let me know if you are still seeing it. Those Internet Explorer users who disabled the check for "mixed content" may want to re-enable it now.

Thanks for being patient with the quirks while we get things cranked up!

I quit using I.E a long time ago. Been using Firefox for 5 years or more. The new 3.5 version loads pages very fast, and they hooked me with the tabbed browsing a long time ago. Yes..I know I.E has tabbed browsing now too, but you would have a hard time talking me into switching.
I was reasonable once.

Hey, I stayed logged in, over-night, and my computer was turned OFF. That's the first time all week. COOL !
