Gone....as one door closes

As one door closes, another door opens. Ever have one of those moments, i certainly did yesterday, been away for a few days and the first thing i heard on the net after returning was the very sad news that Andrew Gold had died.
Then the very next thing i heard was a new album entitled Gone would you believe, by a boy girl Duo called Count This Penny (the name alone tempted me to listen) and was immediately drawn in by the lovely warm harmonies and great vocals from both individuals. Then the final track Morning Star just about brought me to tears with it's theme of learning of the loss of a loved one from far away.
Blowing Fumes I'm driving home in pieces
I got a cold hard phone call to bring me the news
I've got four wheels that cant roll fast enough
Tail lights like the morning star
Point me back home
Where the earth shakes
Oh with heartache
For you tonight

Guess i'll always be riminded of Andrew now whenever i play this album and Morning star in particular.
