What's Exactly The Matter With Me? P.F. Sloan

Although I knew a lot of the tales, myths, and gossip, I am astonished by the details and myth-busting in this book. Phil seems to have had a hand in, or foot in the door, with seemingly everything going on in music in the early to mid-60s. For a kid who grew up in L.A. and was poking around all the studios and back lots of Tinsel Town, I am amazed at all the other things going on. It's quite a fun read, especially since I know the landmarks, streets and intersections, neighborhoods where it all took place.

CC, I know that those kind of things makes reading even more fun! And, you have given a glimpse of why it's a special moment to share a StudioGirl story!

I will never forget sitting on the deck in MO and talking!

Hope we get a chance to get together, me and two awesome chicks!! =D

Oh, on topic, I'm reading the St. Louis Post Dispatch - on-line and accessible! (It's about time!)

The Labryinth, by Kate Mosse.

I almost bought a copy of her most recent book, The Citadel, in a news shop in the Atlanta airport, but the clerk told me it was the third book of a trilogy. So I didn't purchase it. I am reading the first book of the trilogy now. If I like it, I will read the rest of the trilogy.

So far, it is just OK. I am hoping that the pace picks up and the amount of descriptive prose decreases as the book unfolds.

Tony...every time I sit on a deck in MO with you, it is great. Maybe for our next chat I can sit on your deck in KY. Or perhaps on the porch of the hoedown room. Let's make a plan!
