Side one of PUTP on KNBT's Cosmic Power Hour

Did anyone catch Tom Giliam's http://www.tomgillam.com/fr_bioband.cfm Cosmic Power Hour (actually 2 hours) show from New Braunfel, Tx.'s KNBT.FM last night?
As many of you know, Tom does a great radio show each Sunday night at 10pm CST which is streamed on KNBT.FM.
In addition to playing the music a lot of us grew up on from the early to mid 60's to about mid to late 70's, he highlights an album side (almost always from vinyl) and plays it in it's entirety. Last night it was side one of PUTP. He originally said he was going to play side two but decided that side one was a better primer for anyone who was not familiar with the band other than it's hits.
Not only does Tom play some great music, (stuff that cannot be heard anywhere else on the radio that I'm familial with) but he has a tremendous amount of historical knowledge of the music and the bands.
Poco is one of his favorites and always manages to get in some Buffalo Springfield and/or Poco each show. As a matter of fact Grand Junction is the show theme song.
Last night he was quick to point out that Pickin' Up The Pieces and Sweetheart of the Rodeo were probably two of the most influential records of the Country Rock genre.
If you haven't given a listen to Tom's show, I encourage you to do so. I think you will be hooked as I have and make it a Sunday night ritual. Unfortunatly as Tom plays a lot himself you can find that some weeks are re-runs. Also, the station has an archive of some shows on its website. http://knbt.fm/knbt-live/
With courage, strength, faith and hope we will face one day at a time.
