in the late 90's i purchased the most outragious BART REITER Open Back Banjo...but took it to the pawnshop where in front of the place, i sold it for $20 dollars! had a black nylon case and instruction books by some girl in L.A., tuner, etc. (of all the patterns)...i wasn't interested in 'tunes'...patterns only.....total cost outlay? $999/large star inlay in the head that was black...never even tuned it! what the guy and his women sitting in the car didn't realize? it had a really fancy carved plywood back which would provide 'alot of resonation'......A ONE OF A KIND, ONE OFF! BART REITER THAT TODAY THEY DON'T MAKE ANYMORE...EVEN HAD A FIFTH STRING CAPO!..DON'T BELIEVE IN FINGERPICKS...
