Poco Bootlegs?

Postby AlanG » Tue Aug 25, 2009 7:23 pm

After seeing Poco at Jones Beach, I'm falling in love with them all over again. There are two stunning performances of the band from 1973 and 1975 on Wolfgang's Vault, and the notes on the '75 show say that there are many bootleg versions of the show floating around. Since the shows aren't available for paid download, I'm asking if anyone knows of any possible way to obtain these.

I don't want to hurt or offend the band in any way, but very interested in being able to listen to these shows in my car.....over and over again!

Thanks for posting the link. Just discovered two Richie Furay shows from his 1978 tour. Never knew these were available.
"Don't Stop The Carnival." (You've got to play by Kinja rules.)

Anyone know the date of this show? According to Jerry's DELIVERIN' site, they played Seattle in Feb and May 1974.

That makes sense - the references to Poco Seven imply that it had been released, and it was in fact released in June. However, Tim mentions that the band had not been "up here" for 5 years, which makes the February 23 date (at the same Seattle venue) seem suspect.
