Found this on YouTube, and it's pretty good (although, IMHO, Poco do a better version of, If I Needed Someone). Wish they'd do it more often. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKOjiCeb ... mp-real_rnRock 'n Roll Music She's a Woman If I Needed Someone

Poco does do a great version of If I Needed Someone. I think I've only heard them do it live once. This is a good one for the "all-request Poco set list"

Claudia, While I admire your passion for Poco, you are comparing a lousy live version from 43 years ago to something you have heard recently. I saw the Beatles perform this song in 1966 (and I think you did as well). The sound and equipment was terrible; the experience was incredible. Until Poco gets in the studio and records this song, there will never be a better version than this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Px2h0K5AU7s

I have that whole concert on DVD and unfortunatly They were burnt out and they sucked. It's a good the the Beatles decided to stop touring. They could reproduce those songs live at that time. NOBODY WILL EVER DO "IF I NEEDED SOMEONE' AS GOOD THE BEATLES

I'd have to agree. One of George Harrisons greatest songs. Roger McGuinn (who was supposedly George's inspiration) also does a great version on his "Limited Edition" CD.
"Don't Stop The Carnival." (You've got to play by Kinja rules.)

Totally agree with you 'cat'. Nobody can, or will ever touch the original Fab Four.

Yes, I have that CD and some very special stuff from the time he spent, with Eric Clapton, in Japan, very, very nice. I will always be a fan of George Harrison's, he wrote some of the most beautiful Beatles' songs, and his solo work was outstanding.

The Hollies also do a very tasty rendition of "If I Needed Someone". Ralph
