Then don't put a pool in your baseball stadium (and WHY would you??)

I couldn't live with 20 years on the road...

I don't think I could even discuss it."

Their ownership was asked by DBacks ownership not to return to the field. Bad form. No class.

My antipathy toward the Dodgers is matched (actually outpaced) only by that I hold toward the Raiders. That said: The "classless" part of the entire incident is that the Diamondbacks have a swimming pool in their ballpark.

Enjoyed Mariano day at The Stadium. Good to see Jorge and Bernie.

Even though the Yanks lost and it basically killed their last chance of eking into the playoffs. Pettitte pitched great and Mariano (they don't make them any classier than Mo) got the last five outs.

Cano's been a beast down the stretch. I hope they somehow sign him.

So the Red Sox beat the yankees in yankee stadium
... and nobody would have a problem with Boston
having a party among the monuments out there in the outfield?
...etc ...

Pool... Batting cages for kids... Friday's Front Row... All You Can Eat Section...

The "ballpark experience" became about things other than the game a long time ago. I wonder what a player, or for that matter a fan, from baseball's first hundred years would think if he attended a game in 2013.

I can sorta understand these things in a minor league park, but not in the majors.
