I always thought of McCarver as the Madden of baseball. He talks a lot, sure, but he knows his stuff.
Buck... well, I used to think he was the worst ever, in football and baseball. I do think he's much better than he used to be.

Two best teams in baseball in the ws. Guess that's the way God planned it.

Sure did. Fenway is a strange space. Hope Beltran isn't too bad.

Hope that young Wacha has another great performance tonight.

Yes, the two best teams....but my two least favorite ones too. Only players I like are Pedroi and Beltran-and he gets hurt, it didn't look like much to me and I was surprised he came out-and maybe the Cards second basemen.

I know the umps finally got that call right in the first inning, but how could anyone have gotten it wrong on the first look. And he seemed to be looking right at it...

Disappointed it was a blow out.

As for the beards, I'm thinking that when the season's over they will be filming Deliverance II? That's one ugly-ass team.

Ahh Tony, you're just saying that because the Yankee organization won't allow any facial hair.

Frankly, I can't stand listening to Tim McCarver and Joe *uck. Tried listening to the WEEI FM Red Sox radio broadcast with the tv sound turn down but it was out of sync. Have to suffer with those two nitwits a little longer.
