Discuss the band.

Last video for now, the whole gang singing YBTT last Saturday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNQqS9IZhF0Anybody watching these?? Seems like more discussion about the weather than Poco's shows last weekend. Isn't it just incredible that Poco can get together with Richie and Jimmy and George and rock 7000 people in NJ?? It's 2009 and we can still see Poco shows and Richie Furay shows. How lucky are we??

I've been watching 'em and they're great. Not much to comment about not having been to the shows personally but I'll say what I've been saying on occasion, that the band, with whichever lineup they present, can still play with same excitement and spirit as if it was still 1969 or 1972. Rusty is still one of the masters on steel and Paul still has the ability to tear off these amazing riffs at will. Richie? Well, what can you say about Richie that hasn't said a thousand times? Jimmie? Always been a fan of his work. Poco is a solid unit from front to back. They just need to find North Carolina on a map. But perhaps the weather's keeping them away...... Speaking of the weather, yesterday it was so hot........

I'VE BEEN WATCHING, JON!
I was at the PNC, and I've been catching each and every vid link that's been put up on this forum. It was a great, great show, and a great Poco event; how many bands can have their original lineup (the PUTP band) play together 40 years later? It's been a great year for Poco reunions. Wish one would be recorded professionally for CD or DVD release. That Wildwood one that never materialized was a disappointment. But the Youtube vids have been awesome. thanks!!!

Jon, I don't get it either, but I'm glad you (and others) are posting these great vids here and on YouTube. A year ago, new Poco videos were rare. I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the new postings. Thanks much!!

I'm happy that the 'starving nutz', across both ponds, south of the border, Canada and down under, are getting a little taste of today's Poco (with a touch of 'days gone by'). Thanks to all who have posted their videos (2009) on YouTube.
