No more politics on the band link

Whether it's a supposed "joke" or a part of your signature with a link, STOP. This new site has an entire branch set up for you to vent on. This is not the place. By saying that, I do not mean to say I disagree with your views. This is just not the place. Go to the other one and have fun.

Hi Annie,

You don't belong in a shell.

Annie, come out of your shell!

Even though you can't delete the thread, there is something you can do. Use the edit function to get back into your post, select and cut all the text. Then go to the political forum, open a new topic and paste your captured text. You can post a simple sentence in the now blank original post that says "moved to political forum"...and it's all taken care of.

In my opinion, after the fact is just about as good as fixing it when you originally posted.

And if you wanted, you could email the administrator and ask him to delete it or move it for you.

In the meantime, here's a blonde joke I got from a friend...which I thought was funny (and I'm blonde!):

FINALLY...THE BLONDE JOKE TO END ALL BLONDE JOKES

A blonde woman was speeding down the road in her little red sports car and was pulled over by a woman police officer who was also a blonde.

The blonde cop asked to see the blonde driver's license. She dug through her purse and was getting progressively more agitated.

'What does it look like?' she finally asked.

The policewoman replied, 'It's square and it has your picture on it.'

The driver finally found a square mirror in her purse, looked at it and handed it to the policewoman. 'Here it is,' she said.

The blonde officer looked at the mirror, then handed it back saying, 'OK, you can go. I didn't realize you were a cop.
"Do a little dance,
Take a little chance..."

Thanks for the advice, Carolyn..all done...but it will be awhile now for me...Unfortunately, my guard is up.

Have a great week and be careful out in your area of the "woods"..hope you continue to be safe.

I read your post Annie. In my opinion there was nothing offensive or overtly political about it. Maybe I'm just stupid.

Today my wife got a letter from Blue Cross saying that even though her drug of choice (no jokes here-she's got serious pain in her ear) is the only one that works, unless she jumps through three hoops of fire and gets her doctor to approve it with lots of extra paper work she'll have to pay for it herself. She has until October 1 to comply.

Annie, We don't like nice folks to go into their shells around here. We'll just come in after you! Some folks are just a little more sensitive about these types of things because of past flame throwing incidents. IMO, I didn't see a need for this thread as it was already addressed in your original thread.

Don't sweat it.
