The moon was gorgeous, looking up last night I couldn't believe it, so full and bright Nearby was Venus, shining her light To add to this beautiful, romantic sight ...come on, folks there's more to this one...

I was out watering the lawn (yes, some of it gets done in the dark as the sun sets earlier these days...), and I noticed my shadow, caused by the bright, full moon, across the lawn. Immediately, I thought of Cat Stevens' "Moonshadow."

I didn't know you were star-struck, Dar. I, too, love the night sky (I'll bet you can see everything out in the country). The city lights drown out much of the details, but what a moon was hanging last night....

There's a full moon in the sky It's got a hold on me, Im hyptotized Like your love it's getting stronger Please keep my heart a little longer
Indian summer is on it's way Cool at night - and hot all day Ain't no black clouds filled with rain Santa ana wind blew them all to maine
Baby takes my hand She says she understands About the way I feel She knows this love is real

Baby takes my hand She says she understands About the way I feel She knows this love is real
