You have to make your own friends

I have a lot of friends. This is because I was active in my church, joined the Moose Lodge, joined a motorcycle club, and meet people on bulletin boards. You naturally gravitate to subgroups in those activities of people that get along and like each other.

If I sat home and waited for people to come looking to be friends with me, I'd be sitting home waiting ....

And the lifelong friends I have .... from college, old jobs, etc., when time goes by and they don't put effort into seeing me, it's time for me to put effort into seeing them.

That's why I have friends ... because I want them, and let them know they're important to me. Some, we've become such good friends, it's like family love.

They know I'd ride in the middle of the night to help them, and they'd do the same for me.

You reap what you sow.
