Politics used to be banned here. But, this is not politics. It's the end of the USA as we know it. And Nixon on his worst day is not as bad as the President Elect on his best.

Just read in this morning's paper that 91% of incumbents in the 2016 Senate races and 97% of incumbents in the House of Representatives races were returned to office.

So the nation went with a Washington outsider in the Executive branch, but Washington insiders in the Legislative branch.

I have another song lyric, Mary, that also applies to the election of 2016: what a long, strange trip it's been!!

Funny how the world ends every four years .....

..... and then before long we're right back at it!

Everything will be fine in the end. If it's not fine, it's just not the end yet. Not a sermon, just a thought?

The damage Trump will do and already has done with his hateful words, will affect many generations. I fear for my three grandchildren. I fear for my minority friends, I feel for my gay friends. I fear for immigrants. I fear this is the beginning of a world totally out of control and on a collision course.
