Tell us the song that best evokes the area where you live. I live in the Detroit area, for me the song would be "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" by the Temptations. No other song seems to capture the feel of Detroit better.

"Old Tennessee" by Dan Fogelberg. I live just outside of Nashville and Dan's song captures Fall and Winter here perfectly.

I can think of several songs that "fit" Northeastern Ohio:

* "My City Was Gone" by The Pretenders

I also spend a lot of time in South Florida, and would nominate:

* "Mainline Florida" by Eric Clapton

* "Sanibel" by Graham Nash

I'd go with "Ventura Highway", since I live in Ventura County, just a stone's throw from the Ventura Freeway (there is no 'highway'). We regularly vacation in Lahina, so I'll include the L&M song by that name.

My suburban Albany NY home is within 5 miles of 3 major malls...though I have to admit just those same 5 miles to the west and south lie beautiful fields and hills, though no song comes to mind.
