I am seeing my primary care doctor in 90 minutes for a follow-up exam. Sinuses are still pretty blocked, ears less so. I have 2 more days on the ear antibiotics and 9 more days on the sinus/upper respiratory ones, so I still have a long way to go on this course of treatment.
Sure wish this mess was behind me, though.
But unless I am absolutely forbidden to fly, we'll be in Borrego Springs on Thursday.

Well, the doctor says I can go if my Eustachian tubes open up in the next 36 hours. He's slamming me with a steroid, Afrin and Sudafed-D to try to make that happen.
If they don't open by then, though, we can't come. After looking at my ears, he said it was more likely than not that I would burst both eardrums over the course of the transcontinental flight if I tried to fly with blocked Eustachean tubes.
I'll let you know our status on Thursday.

Thanks, Tony.
I'm on two antibiotics, two decongestants and an oral steroid, twice daily. I am hoping they push me over the hump soon...like, tomorrow!!
We have a 7 am flight on Thursday. We'll make the go/no go decision about 5 am. Fingers crossed...
