...and pushed back again, to 2:45 pm. The flight originates in Philadelphia. It was supposed to have arrived in Charlotte an hour ago, but it hasn't yet left Philly.

It is an almost 12 hour drive from Charlotte to home, which Candy has vetoed, so that's out. Geez, what a friggin' mess...

Switched to a different Orlando flight that is supposed to leave about 1:30 pm. (Original flight is still grounded in Philly.)

But now bad weather is heading toward Orlando. Hope we can get there before the bad weather. If not, we'll again be stuck in Charlotte overnight.

Thanks, Dorothy. I've got a sound track for this trip. Poco's The Storm could describe last night; KOT certaily describes most of today, and SHF's Safe at Home sums up tonight.

SO glad we got on a different flight out of Charlotte early this afternoon. Our original 11:20 am departure from Charlotte was showing "Delayed 7 hrs., 41 minutes" on American's flight tracker as we walked into our home tonight, just after 7:30 pm. So it finally made it out of Philly, but again was stuck, this time in Charlotte.

Next year, I'm hitchhiking!!!
