Soft Rock Heroes
Posted: Wed Apr 19, 2017 11:07 amCould someone please tell me what happened to Poco's concert with Firefall and Orleans, scheduled for Aug. 19th at the Tilles Center at Post College on Long Island? I have 3rd row seats for this "Soft Rock Heroes" show, but I received an email from the venue stating that Poco and Firefall have been replaced by The Orchestra (ELO offshoot) and Al Stewart. Orleans is still on the bill. I know Poco is playing at an outdoor festival in LI this summer, but I have no interest in standing in a field all day.
While I'm sure The Orchestra and Al Stewart will be fine, I've never heard of a venue changing 2 out of 3 scheduled performers, not to mention the fact that I'd prefer the originally purchased show.
Does anyone know why this happened? It's very disappointing, especially with no explanation. I'm hoping someone might be able to provide some insight.
