ALL of them, SG, ALL of them: TOGBT, drmojave, and (in real life), Alan.

The man had an IQ that was considerably above average. Yet, like Matt Damon in the film "Good Will Hunting," he lived a life and projected a personna that belied this fact because he WANTED to.

He could be vexing at times. But he could NEVER be mean-spirited or disloyal. He was a good friend to a number of people who desperately needed such a person in their lives.

He may not have been a saint, but he was a good guy. And that's more than enough.

You are so correct, Tim. Alan was unique in just about every way. I especially liked that his "titles" were self-bestowed. That is just too darn funny!
