The chorus:
. You can blame it on the stars hanging in the sky
. Blame it on a midnight lullaby
. Blame it on the warm glow of the wine, or guilty hearts like yours and mine
. But don't blame it on an innocent moon

whether unintentional or otherwise, pays homage to, in order:
. "Starin' at the Sky" (1976)
. "Midnight Rain" (1980)
. "Price of Love" (1982) ("Wine is sweet, gin is bitter....."
and a friendly jab at:
. "Cajun Moon" (1982)

I admit that I have used the following statement, more than once, at my workplace:

You can turn around and say it isn't so
Or wrap your heart around it and just let go

The above wording, in many circumstances, serves to hit the point, right on the nose, far better than paragraphs of explanation ever could.

My favorite track from Waitin' For The Sun!

Rusty's solo project was a long time coming, but well-worth the wait. I've especially enjoyed hearing Poco play these songs live-- the guys must like playing them, too, because they clearly kick it up a notch on the boss's new material.
