thanks for the heads up underground. i may have to make this one. it's only about an hour from my house (almost everything is an hour from my house). of course, the room six at joshua tree inn is legendary. i have friends who have stayed there. zog described joshua tree inn as a phony zen deal (as per the current owners, i have no personal knowledge). yet, zog was a good friend of pappy and harriet's. i had talked to them over several years as a possible place for the hoe down. they seemed like fine people. if i go, i will probably stay at pioneer town(if not sold out).
could be fun.
