a baby bird ate out of a dish i was holding ,came up to me when i called it.i hope its ok,looks kinda scruffy,ate a few seeds,i left some out for it,its sleeping on my one little porch roof,i pray it will be ok.....

Awwww, they must know that you are cool, Dar (like you aren't gonna eat them for dinner). Animals have a good sense 'who's good & who ain't' (& YOU IS GOOD !)...

That IS very cool. I hope he's OK too.

Sometimes when I re-hang my hummingbird feeders after refilling the impatient little beggars will light right on my hands to drink. They're so exquisite up close, it always gives me a thrill to have one parked on my fingers.

i have hummingbirds that hoover over me too,but thats just too cool:)

i am so upset,the poor baby died, i feel so sad:(
