This is the back cover of the fallen angels live 1973 CD. Isnt that Richie with the Mickey Mouse Shirt on listening to Parsons and Emmylou sing?

It sure looks like him .... don't know, though. BTW, I saw a copy of that in CD form
at J&R Music in NYC a few months back, and bought it right away. Classic. I believe it
was broadcast live on WLIR.

Actually it's N. D. Smart, drummer with the "Fallen Angels" circa 1973. Check out Ben Fong-Torres' book "Hickory Wind - The Life and Times of Gram Parsons". No question about it, though.... Richie & Gram new each other and considered joining forces briefly just before POCO was born. Gram had a more pure country vision, while Richie leaned towards a more rock basis.
