That was very innovative, if you had used dad's movie camera you would have had a kinescope way before the bootleggers....

Thanks! Sorry I didn't check back here sooner...(old and blonde...LOL). Funny thing is, in summer of 1965 when the Beatles were back at the Hollywood Bowl for two nights, I DID take Dad's movie camera. I "zeroed" out the focus on binoculars and held them up to the camera lens. Sadly, I did not have enough money to process the 8mm film so I never knew if my gerry-rigged (or jury-rigged) "telephoto" lens worked out.

Thanks, Brian. I did that, too, but didn't save anything, so I ended up just posting the original scans. You really "crisped" them up!!
