Richie Furay & Pete Fonatale 8-21-09

Postby MsUp » Fri Dec 04, 2009 11:25 am

Just wanted to share an image from this interview, taken in Woodstock, NY (Bethel Woods, NY 8-21-09). Almost the exact weekend, of the original Woodstock Festival, on the same grounds, back in 1969. It was a wonderful exchange , between old friends, not to mention Richie's flawless performance, of some of his classics.
Hope you like the picture.

Thanks, Annie.
I just get lucky sometimes, and what a treat to have been there.

Yes, Mike, it was a great day. Starting off with Pete's interview with Richie, Richie's soulful performance, at that same interview, and that evening's wonderful show with Loggins & Messina, POCO and Richie Furay. Oh yeah, this show was played on the very ground of the original Woodstock Music Festival (3 days of Peace & Love), and it was the 40th Anniversary, and quite possibly the same weekend of that very festival.
