Some of you may have heard that Randy Meisner is in a California hospital and you're concerned. I just talked to his wife Lana and want to give you guys the latest. Randy was at home when something he was eating obstructed his breathing and he lost consciousness. Lana rushed him to the emergency room where he got immediate care.
Things are going to be a little rough for Randy for a while, but his doctors are optimistic he’ll recover from this incident. If you can, say a little prayer or just send love Randy’s way.

Sad news. Randy is a great talent. Who knows what POCO might have become if he hung around.

I hope he is getting the care he needs, he looked awful in the recent History of the Eagles video. The years haven't been kind to him.

Thanks Rusty for the update. Always enjoyed Randy's role in the Eagles. 'Try and Love Again' one is of my favorite songs. Loved his vocals on that one.

Since I never listen to the Eagles, when I think of Randy it's always as Poco's original bass player and as a member or Rick Nelson's original Stone Canyon Band.

I wonder some times how things would have changed had he stayed in Poco. He has one of those completely original voices that sound so great singing rock.

I'm pretty sure that Randy now lives in and owns the house that Rick Nelson used to live in.

I'm glad to hear that the prognosis is better than it was 24 hours ago.

I am sure his wife appreciated you checking in on them, Rusty. I am glad that a full recovery from this incident is expected, and I hope it will be a long, long time until the next one.
