Can you believe, Poco will be around for 50 years? Actually this October will be the 50th anniversary of our 1st show at the Troubador. So we thought we'd start getting ready by giving our website a new look and a new name. This horseshoe logo was the first illustration that Phil Hartmann did for Poco back in 1974. Phil designed a bunch of Poco's album covers including the iconic Poco horse. Our thanks to Jon Rosenbaum for retouching the horseshoe scanned from his copy of the Poco 7 album cover to create the file we still use today. This 50th logo was put together by Derek Linton from our friend David Rotella's company at DANIMA CREATIVE GROUP {which will be designing the new site}. It'll be a couple months before the new website is up and running, so for now stay in touch right here on poconut.org

looking great Rusty. Thanks for posting and advising about the new website coming. Been listening to the Bareback CD and just really impressed how good that sounds...love the version of Cajun Moon with the harmonica by Dave Goodwin......Best regards

Thanks Rusty: Hope we see T-Shirts with this new logo. Great design. 50 years. Quite an achievement. And kudos to you for being there for all 50.

Not many people have held one job in a company for 50 years, let alone one job in a band for 50 years. Mary, give the man a gold watch. And throw in a copy of Running Horse and a couple of picks.

Great to see Poco still going, after I thought Rusty was going to end the band a few years ago. Also good to see Rusty contributing to this site. Facebook is fine, but I still use this site as my main source of Poco information. There are only so many sites we can visit on an almost daily basis, and I prefer this one. Looking forward to Rusty's solo album and autobiography, and still dreaming of Poco returning for a few UK gigs?!

I wanted to bump this back up. I'm curious if the new website is still in the works. Am I wrong to guess it will debut in Oct. for the 50th anniversary?
