Marc-

Well, I don't see you suggesting any solution to change the gun violence problem. But thanks for trying. Also, the Department of Health and Human Services denies any suggestion that certain words used by the CDC are banned. Fake news?

The statement follows a Friday report by The Washington Post that said the Trump administration had banned the CDC from using certain words, including “transgender,” “evidence-based” and “science-based” in official budget documents.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) disputed the report on Saturday.

"The assertion that HHS has 'banned words' is a complete mischaracterization of discussions regarding the budget formulation process," HHS spokesman Matt Lloyd told The Hill.

Nice try. Obama ran into brick walls with the GOP led Congress in trying to enact reasonable legislation. And just the other day:

'Trump hosted the NRA at the White House on the anniversary of Sandy Hook massacre'

Our children are merely collateral damage for the greedy gun industry....

Trump recently repealed Obama's rule making it easier for mentally ill people to purchase guns:

Felons can buy guns without background checks:

Some states have no background checks:

The gun show loophole still exists:

And (because of NRA Lobbyists) the CDC is forbidden to keep records or study the effects of gun violence:

The GOP Congress extended the ban:

I live in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. MS13 is a big problem here. Why did they come here? Simple ... we have the toughest gun laws around. They know they can go around killing. You don't see them going to Texas, Fla ... where there are lax gunlaws. Why hold up a store or go on a killing spree where you would get shot?

Mostly, crime rates and killings are the highest where the toughest gun laws are ...

Detroit ... Chicago ...

What if a teacher or two in Sandy Hook was carrying? Might have been a little different.

Criminals don't care what the gun laws are.

Well, actual studies prove that is not true.

Does a city with the ‘toughest gun laws’ end up with ‘worst gun violence’?

Short answer: No.

Gospel, Brother.

You nailed it. Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore...

Actually, you have to scratch your head what makes the murder capitals in the USA. Looking at the stats, they are little farm communities and centers of urban blight, and a few other areas I don't quite get, but... all are liberal areas. See:
