Rest now my sweet girl

Postby boosky » Fri Jun 26, 2009 1:38 pm

I lost my best friend this morning. My dog Pebbles who graced our family for the past 16 years passed on this morning. I was with her for the last moments of her precious life. The Vet and staff were crying along with me. She was just too old and sick to carry on any more. This is one of the most difficult things I have ever done. I will miss you my sweet baby. Until we meet again my girl.

As one who always has a house full of rescues, I've been in that same place more times than I care to recall. It never gets any easier and my heart goes out to you. She'll be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge.

Having been there myself 15 years ago,I know exactly what you are going through Boosky....The current pooch is now 15 and is starting to slow down herself....I'm sure it won't be too much longer till we go through it again....I'm sure it doesn't get any easier. Rest in peace Pebbles, Boosky's sweet girl you will be missed by your master.
With courage, strength, faith and hope we will face one day at a time.

Losing a pet is one of the most difficult times in a true pet lover's life. As I have said before, they gave me much more than I could ever give them. My deepest sympathies.

I am so sorry...I know how hard it is to go through this. It's terrible to lose a loving pet. They love us unconditionally and expect nothing in return except our attention. :(
