Is there some reason this website is still available?

Basically to have access to the archived forum material.

They were not sure it would transfer over to the new website.

Though this was the new website? If it is, why have it? It is not active by members.

Like i said they are keeping this one available because of the Forum archives. It was no not a guarantee that they could link these forums to the new site. It is working but this one is still up as well. It might not be for long , though.

Rusty, you are one hard worker, and so is Mary. What is the reason for this site? I'll admit I don't come here often anymore. And, some might criticize the site still functioning because... I have no eff-ing idea.

Some people who maybe live in a land far away don't want to see you on Facebook and all the videos Poconuts post. Meanwhile, you are still making music all over the place for nuts like us who want to find you here, there, FB, Forums, wherever...

Thanks to you and Mary for plugging' away the way you do. You might prefer a day of fishing, but most of us would rather hear you live, read your updates, watch videos on whatever platform we can find, and any stuff you and other Poconuts can provide.

What is the reason for the new website? What was the reason for this website replacing the site before it?

I went to the new website and looked at its "message board". I couldn't find a table of topics, just unrelated posts. I'm not one that is big on change, and I like the format of this forum and will continue to visit and post whenever.

I still post at a message board/forum that was created by an FM radio station in Seattle in the mid 90s (KMTT The Mountain). The Mountain Heads took it over and kept it going after KMTT abandoned it long ago. A few years ago, almost all and the Mountain Heads left for Facebook. Not me, I'm about the only one that has posted to it in the following years, mostly writing about my live music outings. I like the format, it's a good place for historic reference back to 2007, and some of my posts get several readers. I'll write there and here until I can't.
