Welcome Lex!!!

Through the years and the changes
And with the will of a train
Some have parted strangers
Some have stayed in the game
Sooner or later you've got a winning hand

Favorite Michael Webb moments as a member of Poco:

1. His neoclassical piano intro to ROC. It blew me away the first time I heard it...and every time thereafter.

2. His electric piano solo on Grand Junction. It was a playful shot of Fats Domino injected into a bluegrass song.

3. His blistering guitar solo on Neil Young is Not My Brother during the FL leg of the 2014 retirement tour...that nobody heard. Because on two successive night performances, he forgot to turn up the volume knob!!

4. His plaintive accordion work and soaring organ performances on Hard Country---masterful.

5. Also from the 2014 retirement tour, having a few late night beers with Michael, Pocanuck, and Pocanuck's brothers in the lobby of a hotel in Orlando, talking music and just chilling.

So, best wishes to Michael. And welcome, Lex.

The show Sunday night with Lex Browning in the band10/14/18 was really great. I can't write the hows and why's in a few sentences, suffice it to say the entire audience seemed thrilled start to finish.

Welcome to Poco, Lex! We miss you in Portland but glad to hear you’re doing well In Tucson. What a thrill it must be to play with Poco! I’ve seen you play with Freak Mountain Ramblers and as a regular guest with X-Angels and John Bunzow Band. Now I hope to get to see you with Poco! You are a great guitarist and fiddle player!
