my friend Rusty

Discuss the band.

my friend Rusty

When Jimmy left, Poco lived on. When Richie left, Poco lived on. When George left, Poco lived on. When Tim left, Poco lived on. When Paul left, Poco lived on.

Like a force of nature, when so many said the band was finished, Rusty regrouped, found great musicians, like Jack Sundrud, Rick Lonow, Michael Webb and Tom Hampton, and the band lived on.

Now my friend Rusty is gone and for me, there is no Poco without Rusty Young.

My sadness is almost overwhelming.

I'll take each day as it comes, and somehow carry on...

I'll keep missing you one tear at a time.

Sue and I will miss Rusty. He had a smile that could light up a room. Heaven has another great musician. If we were not close friends, I was an avid fan and admirer and was glad to have met him and spend a little time at meet and greets. Rusty you'll be missed.
