Among an unbelievable list of accomplishments over a 6-decade music career, David:
- played alongside future Poco founder Richie Furay as a guest of Buffalo Springfield at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967.
- played alongside Poco keyboard player Kim Bullard on tour with CSN in the early 1980s.

On August 30, 1967, I recorded an interview with B. Mitchel Reed (Los Angeles, KFWB disc jockey) and David just after Monterey Pop. I had a reel-to-reel tape recorder and sat the microphone in front of my AM-only clock radio. (LOL) Many years ago (1991), a friend transferred it to cassette for me. Somewhere along the way it got digitized and posted on the internet. It's now on YouTube. Parts 1 and 2:https://youtu.be/8Hw31LrzTxM and https://youtu.be/ZSaqezsLQGY

Hi Roger: I'm doing pretty well, and hope you are, too. Other than the unusual weather, not much is going on -- which is okay with me!! Having fun playing guitar in a 5-piece band and bass with a friend of many years, and sitting around doing a lot of nothing (what I do best). Cheers!!
